Hi, I'm Simon - a freelance web developer with a passion for creating exceptional digital experiences. Based in the beautiful Wye Valley, I help businesses across the UK build websites that perform.
My Story
Being a Norfolk native, I've always had a love for exploring the countryside. I've recently swapped the flat fields for the hills of the Wye Valley where I currently live and work as a freelance web developer.
Over the past few years I have been working in-house for a number of digital agencies. For my last full-time role I worked up to lead developer at an award-winning digital PR agency, where I honed my skills in building high-performance websites and leading development teams.
I also currently work part-time as the head of product at Tickets For Good, overseeing all new product developments for the ticketing platform. This role keeps me at the forefront of modern web technologies and user experience design.
I run my freelance web design and development business simonb.co.uk remotely, but I regularly work on-site across Bristol and the South West, Wales and London. I'm happy to work on any project remotely or in person.

Life in the Wye Valley
When I'm not coding, you'll often find me exploring the beautiful countryside of the Wye Valley with Odin, my Portuguese Water Dog. The move from the flat fields of Norfolk to these rolling hills has been incredible - there's nothing quite like a walk along the River Wye to clear your head and spark creativity.
This connection to nature and the slower pace of rural life actually enhances my work. I find that the best solutions often come when you step away from the screen and let your mind wander through the Welsh countryside.
